Busy, busy!

Whew! What a busy week! We are in our 4th week of school (yay!) and we have our Missions Conference this week. Oh, how we have missed having a Missions Conference. Our old church did missions different, and we never met any missionaries that we "supported" at an SBC church. The only times that we have met & fellowshipped was at IFB churches that we have been involved in. What a blessing it is to see their heart for the people that they are going to go and minister to. One of the families that is currently on deputation and headed for the Arctic Canada is coming over to our house after the service tonight. A sad fact is that it is currently taking a missionary family three (yes, 3) years on deputation before they can get to the field. The nightly speaker is from Bearing Precious Seed and has delivered some powerful messages regarding missions. The theme this week is "Till the Whole World Knows".

Till the Whole World Knows (Chorus)

Till the whole world knows,

Till the whole world knows,

I will shout and sing, for Christ my King!

Till the whole world knows!

Last night, my daughter played the piano for the service: what a blessing! She is using her God-given talent for the Lord. Ever since we got our new piano in July, her playing has just gotten so beautiful. Our pastor had her play last week during the offering and my husband wept. Okay, enough of the mom-brag. (she doesn't know I took this picture...shhh, don't tell her!)

Missions Conferences are so exciting! Our is in December (such a busy month).

How wonderful that your daughter is able to share her talent on the piano at church! :)
