Outside My Window...another beautiful autumn morning...frost on the ground, chill in the air, bright sunshine.
I am thinking...that I will be posting some of my favorite apple recipes over the week. We have made a few things so far.
I am thankful for...good, godly friends :o) (you know who you are)
From the kitchen...nothing right now....I need to start my apple butter though. I can get it started and let it simmer all night in my roaster...YUM! I think I may make a few loaves of pumpkin or zucchini bread today.
I am wearing...cream-colored top and brown skirt
I am creating...a meal plan for the week.
I am going...hopefully no where today...it will be nice to just stay home.
I am reading...Bible-almost done with 2 Samuel. Taking me a long time for some reason. I read Daniel on Wednesdays to prepare for our Bible study at church. Just for fun- one of my freebie magazines on home decorating.
I am hoping...that I feel better soon. I drank like 4 cups of hot cider on Saturday night and my blood sugar went up and my head has hurt since then. I know better. I almost never drink something with a lot of carbs, let alone 4 cups!
I am hearing...my children excited about watching the house across the street get a new roof?
Around the house...my sweet husband and sons cleaned the house last night after the girls and I left for choir practice. Ahhh....so nice to come home to.
One of my favorite things...the smell of cooking apples.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of my grandma dying, I may go to the cemetery. This Friday is the first Bible study for our new church plant (April 2009) to lay the foundation. Our church is having old fashioned day this Sunday....we are wearing our colonial costumes that I made for our trip to Williamsburg!
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
My husband giving a devotion at the bonfire Saturday night. It was a gorgeous sunset, crisp fall air, bonfire, warm cider, just a beautiful time!

I saw your link at the Simple Woman and just had to stopy by for a visit. I'm so glad that I did!
I can hardly wait to enjoy those apple recipes.
Blessings & joy,
Lea
I'm looking forward to those apple recipes, too. Have a wonderful week! :)
I thought I'd be all "appled-out" by now, but I'm going to follow up on your apple recipes too! Maybe you really can't get too much of a good thing.
